Erin is a 40-something athlete who since the age 12 devoted her physical well-being to running. As age and injury risk set in, triathlon had been the way to branch out from the strict running ways. Erin completed her first triathlon in 2005. As with so many of us, adulthood and life got in the way of triathlon participation for a few years before her fire was rekindled in 2012. This is Erin‘s second year on Team Valor working with Mary. With the camaraderie of the team, she successfully completed her first 70.3 at Musselman in 2014. This year, she plans to focus on some speed and has a bunch of sprints on the race schedule. She is also raising money for the Alzheimer’s Association of Rochester/Finger Lakes with a goal of raising $5,000 throughout the season.
